Star Wars: Battlefront II Gets Official Release Date And Trailer
The Official release date for Star Wars Battlefront II was announced today at the Star Wars Celebration. It will be launched November 17th, 2017 on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
The events of the campaign mode takes place 30 years after The Return Of The Jedi following our protagonist Commander Iden Versio, leader of the Inferno Squad who is hell bent on avenging the emperor.
Aside from Iden Versio, players will also get the chance to play as famous characters such as Luke skywalker and Kylo Ren. A reveal trailer was also released with the release date which you can check out below:
The multiplayer mode allows you to battle with up to 40 players across various Star Wars location including Iden's home world, Starkiller base, Yavin 4 and Mos Eisley using a variety of characters like Darth Maul, Rey and many others all through the different eras of the Star Wars movie.
Split screens are back for co-op modes although this feature will only be available for consoles. Also making a debut is space battles as players will be able to battle other players both on land and air.
A deluxe Edition called the Elite Trooper will also be available for pre-order and doing this gives you earlier access to the game, three days earlier to be precise and you also get new looks for Kylo Ren and Rey based on their new looks in the upcoming Star Wars Movie.
